[glow=blue,2,300]Cade Swiftwind[/glow]- is the patron god of Halflings. He saw that the wars would constantly rage on Marinth and so decided that his people would be small of stature so as to better stay out of the way of the larger more warlike races. Cade decided that his people would be an example to the other races, as they would live in peace among the rolling hills in idealistic family communities. His plans worked for the most part as the Halflings lived in peace for many millennia, but many were forced from their lives as farmers by the warring of the other races. Now many Halflings live scattered throughout the lands of humans and the other good races. Cade Swiftwind’s favored weapon is the short sword.

[glow=blue,2,300]Kor Stonearm[/glow]- the god of strength and contests is the only god to start as a mortal man. Kor was the son of a smith and was very strong even for a human smith. Having been the son of a smith made him long for the life of an adventurer as he helped forge many a weapon for passing bands of adventurers. However, his loyalty for his family was so strong that he instead settled for challenging passing adventurers to contests of strength and drinking. Kor was never defeated and some say that when he passed, so enduring was his legend that he was granted god-hood upon his death. His favored weapon is the great-hammer.
